We had a very less amount sleep for the tomorrow's plans. By the time I woke up, the entire place is covered with the fog. We have started to Chembra peak in the early morning. It is better to opt for the Jeep if your vehicle has lower ground clearance. We parked the vehicle in mid way and took a Jeep to reach starting point of the Trekking point. Chembra Peak: Timings :  8 AM to 2 PM Ticket Fare : 700 for Jeep. 700 for Entry ticket. How to Reach:  Buses available from KSRTC bus stand to Srirangapatna Bus stand and th e n reach temple to another bus. Best time to Visit:  Less sunny day. Duration:  5 hours Highlights:  Heart shape Lake, Trekking to the hill. Next started to the water falls. In the mid way,  we missed Wayanad Wild Life Sanctuary as we have very minimal time.  Irupu water falls - Timings :  10 AM to 5:30 PM Ticket Fare :  50 How to Reach:  Buses available. Best time to Visit:  after rainy season Duration:  1 hour High

Dated : 11th March, 12th Mar 2017 Crew : Guru and Me It is a vague plan without any precautions. But I enjoyed a lot for the trek. My intention is to visit a temple with a trek. Later I found, my decision was not bad. We have started on the Saturday morning to catch the Chennai Exp(12164), where we could reach to Cuddapah, nearest to reach nearby city. Only 4 trains available to reach Cuddapah from Chennai. But we missed it. Later started by 8:30 in bus from CMBT. Luckily we got the INDRA bus. The fare is around 470 INR. And reached Cuddapah by 3 PM. One could see the following places on the way. Bhaktha Kannappa Birth place Kadapa Central Jail Vontimitta -  Sri Ram's temple There were no direct buses to reach Jammalamadugu. So catches Proddatur bus, it is 1.5 hrs journey. IDated : 5th March 2017 Crew : Madhu, Guru and Me After completing our mundane on Saturday, we have started to the Tirupathi. Due to we are not aware of the place and route, we decided to go to Tirupathi first and then we could start to Nagalapuram. But one can directly catch the bus from Chennai to Nagalapuram by taking Tirupathi bus. It is the half way between these cities. In the eastern ghats range, it is one of the nearest to the Chennai for trekking. This trek is more suitable for the first timers. Not too slope and safest way. Early morning we started from Tirupathi and reached Pichatur. It is around 39 km distance. We reached by 10 AM. From there lone can take the Sri Kalahasthi bus and get down in ARAI Village. It is the starting point for the trekkers. Be aware that we should ask people ARAI Falls instead of Nagalapuram water falls as there is a town with the same name. But it is not for the trekkers. First you reach the Dan reservoir which is 3km from the ARAI village.

Dated : 25th to 28th Feb 2017 Ooty is one of my long awaiting trip, I specially kept it for the honeymoon. I booked tickets ahead of my marriage plan. It is very long journey from my home town so we reached Chennai one day prior and stayed for a day and then started to Ooty.  There is a Nilagiri express starts from Chennai at 9 PM. And can reach up to Mettupalayam(6 AM) . There is a steam engine toy train where the journey would be fantastic to reach to Ooty. It is 5 hrs journey. And can reach Ooty by 12 PM. I booked a Hotel in Ooty. Its name is Accord hotel, Doddabetta. Auto charge is around 250 INR to reach hotel from Railway station. Hotel is very good in the service. We planned for 3 days stay in Ooty. One day we went out cover these places by Cab. It costs 1500 INR for 4 hrs. It is provided by the hotel.
