Visakhapatnam

Dated : 26/03/2008 It was our B.Tech third year.....Everybody was busy with the paper presentations....that scheduled in a college near to vizag. So, we also took a tour for the vizag aas-pas......  We first planned to visit the Simhachalam Temple... Simha : Lion ;  Adri or Achala : Hill (one which cannot be moved, viz. hill). Atop the hill is a famous temple said to be the abode of Varaha Narasimha Swami, and hence the hill itself is called (nara) simhachalam. The temple is situated in the city of Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh. And then to Kailashgiri.....

Paritala

Dated: 26/9/2008 Occasion :  My frnd Sandeep's Birthday.             As a part of blessings from the god on the birthday occasion, we had planned to Paritala, which situated on the VJD-HYD highway, roughly 30 km from the Vijayawada city.               The Paritala has a famous Hanuman statue which is 150 m height.    The birthday boy.....Sandeep(Above two pics)           The Lord Shiva Temple near to Paritala.....   

Tirupathi

Dated: 13-12-2012 Stayed for the whole day in talakona hills and started to tirupathi for the next day... In the way to tirupathi, we covered Zoo park. Govindha Govindha..!! Meet you soon..!!

Talakona Water Falls

Dated: 11-12-12 & 12-12-12 The next day we started to talakona water falls. We are late, when we reach the water falls. So, the schedule moved to the next day. There the treckking starts to the water falls...

Horsley Hills

Dated: 9-12-2012             We had taken rest for the next day till noon and started to Horsley Hills. In the way to horsley, we covered the kanipaakam and Aradhagiri.  Kanipaakam is famous for the Lord Ganesh. Here is the story about kanipakam: According to the temple legend there were three brothers, each with a handicap: one was mute, one was deaf and one was blind. They earned their livelihood by cultivating a small piece of land. They used channels to irrigate their fields, and as one of them guided the water, the other two drew water. On one such occasion they found that the water in the well dried up and they could no longer continue their work. One of them got into the well and excavated it. He was taken aback when his shovel struck a stonelike formation. He was shocked to see blood oozing out from it. Within a few seconds the clear well water turned blood red. This divine sight cured the three...
