Munnar - Day 1

The munnar plan was unplanned in my tight schedule. But I took that, I should take a break and refresh myself.
We started from Chennai at 8:30 PM by SRS Travel bus. Hope they came on the way by Madhurai, Dindugal, Palani. It is 5 in the early morning when we reach Palani.
The bus stopped at Marayur for an half an hour and allowed us to complete our mundane. From there, the ride was superb.

We step down in Munnar by around 8. We refreshed near by and waiting to start the trip. In the mid, some one interrupted our discussion. We looked back. He introduced himself came a tour guide map in hand. We cut his conversation. But he insisted to hear and let him complete his conversation.

We heard till end, he come up with a decent fair for the trip(Mattupatty direction). We started the tour in his Auto.
First we directed him to the nearby hotel for breakfast, he left us at the Sarvana Bhavan. Guys, really don't miss the food at the hotel. It is really delicious.
By the time we start it is almost 11. He like to change the plan if you are staying one more day. He come up with the first day to complete the Cochin Direction.

Initially he started to tell us about the Tea plantation.

Before we reach Munnar, it is almost 7 PM. He helped us to take to a hotel. We freshen up there and roamed around the lanes. We visited near by Church and Mosque.

Puri Jagannath and Konark Sun Temple

Dated - 25 DEC 2018 Crew - Naga's and Raju's family The trip was very short and tight planned one. We have to complete 2 temples in one day. We started to the puri at 4:10 AM by AHAMADABAD - PURI 12844 express. The train was late by 2 hours, which make the trip so worse. First we went to the Jagannath temple, which is my long wish in the visit places list, by auto, charged around 80 rupees. We need to walk till temple entrance. Chennakesava Temple(Somanathapur) & Talakadu (Day 1)

Dated: 16/12/2017 Crew: Madhu & Me As usual, the trip plan w as also born a day before of our journey. But we were so late, there were no bookings for to-and-fro of our journey, but we made it somehow or else I couldn't write this post. Our journey started with the Unreserved Coach of BANGALORE MAIL(Train NO - 12657, Dep Time - 23:15 Arrival Time - 04:31). On that day, the trains, before and after of our train are over-crowded and late running. Unfortunately, our train had hit with large mass. Of some luck, we got the seat for at least to sit. We reached on-time in Bengaluru and caught the MYSORE EXPRESS(Train No - 16231, Dep Time - 05:10, Arrival Time - 08:40) at 5.30. The climate was so chill, where we turned from the open un-buttoned clothes to the tycoon shivering for the cold. We stepped out in Mandya Railway Station at 7.30 AM.
