Wayanad - Coorg trip : Day 1
Dated :17th Dec 2016 to 19th 2016 Crew : Nishand, Anand, Tamil, Bharath and Me Initially I was not part of this planned trip, but somehow I have joined in the troop. We took the car to drove all the way for the trip. We started from Chennai at 9:30 PM and reached first wayanad at 9 AM by touching the Bangalore - Mysore - Kalpetta cities. Police check up has been there before entering the Bandipur Forest Area. The 10 km stretch is very serene and beautiful. We spotted some the dears too. We started with the Kanthapara water falls, but the roads are like hell and it is very dangerous to ride for the new bees. Kanthapara Water Falls: Timings : 6 AM to 3 PM Ticket Fare : 50 How to Reach: Only by car and bike. Best time to Visit: After rainy season. Duration: 3 hours Highlights: Tea plantations on the way. Nearby Places : Sathpara water falls. From there we reached meppadi, nearest town where you can find the hotels....
