Ooty
Dated : 25th to 28th Feb 2017 Ooty is one of my long awaiting trip, I specially kept it for the honeymoon. I booked tickets ahead of my marriage plan. It is very long journey from my home town so we reached Chennai one day prior and stayed for a day and then started to Ooty. There is a Nilagiri express starts from Chennai at 9 PM. And can reach up to Mettupalayam(6 AM) . There is a steam engine toy train where the journey would be fantastic to reach to Ooty. It is 5 hrs journey. And can reach Ooty by 12 PM. I booked a Hotel in Ooty. Its name is Accord hotel, Doddabetta. Auto charge is around 250 INR to reach hotel from Railway station. Hotel is very good in the service. We planned for 3 days stay in Ooty. One day we went out cover these places by Cab. It costs 1500 INR for 4 hrs. It is provided by the hotel.
