Wayanad - Coorg : Day 2

We had a very less amount sleep for the tomorrow's plans. By the time I woke up, the entire place is covered with the fog.
We have started to Chembra peak in the early morning. It is better to opt for the Jeep if your vehicle has lower ground clearance. We parked the vehicle in mid way and took a Jeep to reach starting point of the Trekking point.

Chembra Peak:
Timings : 8 AM to 2 PM
Ticket Fare :
700 for Jeep.
700 for Entry ticket.
How to Reach: Buses available from KSRTC bus stand to Srirangapatna Bus stand and then reach temple to another bus.
Best time to Visit: Less sunny day.
Duration: 5 hours
Highlights: Heart shape Lake, Trekking to the hill.
Next started to the water falls. In the mid way,  we missed Wayanad Wild Life Sanctuary as we have very minimal time.

Timings : 10 AM to 5:30 PM
Ticket Fare : 50
How to Reach: Buses available.
Best time to Visit: after rainy season
Duration: 1 hour
Highlights: Best massage from water flow as the pressure is very high.
Nearby Places: Wayanad Wild Life Sanctuary
From there reached Coorg by 9 PM.

Puri Jagannath and Konark Sun Temple

Dated - 25 DEC 2018 Crew - Naga's and Raju's family The trip was very short and tight planned one. We have to complete 2 temples in one day. We started to the puri at 4:10 AM by AHAMADABAD - PURI 12844 express. The train was late by 2 hours, which make the trip so worse. First we went to the Jagannath temple, which is my long wish in the visit places list, by auto, charged around 80 rupees. We need to walk till temple entrance. Chennakesava Temple(Somanathapur) & Talakadu (Day 1)

Dated: 16/12/2017 Crew: Madhu & Me As usual, the trip plan w as also born a day before of our journey. But we were so late, there were no bookings for to-and-fro of our journey, but we made it somehow or else I couldn't write this post. Our journey started with the Unreserved Coach of BANGALORE MAIL(Train NO - 12657, Dep Time - 23:15 Arrival Time - 04:31). On that day, the trains, before and after of our train are over-crowded and late running. Unfortunately, our train had hit with large mass. Of some luck, we got the seat for at least to sit. We reached on-time in Bengaluru and caught the MYSORE EXPRESS(Train No - 16231, Dep Time - 05:10, Arrival Time - 08:40) at 5.30. The climate was so chill, where we turned from the open un-buttoned clothes to the tycoon shivering for the cold. We stepped out in Mandya Railway Station at 7.30 AM.
