It is very far from the place where we are staying. First we reached Tambaram(bus fare - INR 22), then to Sriperubudhur(bus fare - INR - 39) and then to the Chokhi Dhani(bus fare - INR 15). Bus conductors will help to get you down near to the Chokhi Dhani. Another landmark is Rajya lakshmi Engineering college, which is on the way to Chokhi Dhani. But it is worth to travel for 3 hours. Kanchipuram

Crew : Naga and Ravi's family Dated : On one fine day we planned to go to Kanchipuram. Initially we thought we should complete all the five main temples by lunch time and should reach the kanchi as early as possible. I remember we used to go to Kanchi by taking a bus at Adyar(which starts from Tambaram). But those bus services has not been running now. We went to the Sriperumbudhur and then took Kanchi buses. It is a 2-3 hours journey. There were so many autos available which provides a tour to the 5 temples for a charge of INR 300. But we resisted them and take on by self. Annavaram

Crew - Naga family Dated - 14th Feb 2019 We started from Chennai to Annavaram by train. We reached Annavaram station by 8 AM. By the time, the temple bus was ready. It charged 15 rupees to the main temple. We booked a room in the down hill. All the rooms check in time will be 4.00 PM from booked date to next day 2.00 PM(22 hours). Till the time, we completed our mundane tasks and made free darshanam and ate in the Annadanam. Then started to the Down hill by 5.00 PM. The cottages are fine but take a print out of receipt. The cottages are not made online. After so much struggle, took a print out of receipt and checked in to the room. After bath, we ate in near by small hotels. We feared that whether we need a print out for the Vratham ticket too. Nobody haven't given the proper information. The later day, we went to Devasthanam Office and try to enquire. Dakshinachitra is a place where group of different culture houses was there in those times. With the help of  Madras Craft Foundation(MCF), the 10 acres land is allotted for Dakshinachitra by Government of Tamil Nadu and the same houses were re-constructed with the permission of house owners. Day 3 # Srisailam

Dated : 20th April, 2019 Crew : Madhu and Myself The next day at 6.00 AM, the bus is ready and started to Srisailam. The Ghat road is the fantastic drive. We reached the temple by around 8.30 AM. We put the luggage's into cloak rooms and went to Free Darsahanam line. It took 2 hours for the Darshanam. We have been sent to one room, and provided breakfast within the temple queue like in Tirupathi. Finally the mallikarjuna's darshanam has been successfully done. We came out and enquired about the Sight seeing package on hills. But there are no such packages as mentioned in the APSRTC site. We booked an auto for 100 rupees per head and visited the Sakshi Ganapathi, Hatakeshwaram, Phaladhara, Sikharam etc., In all the places, it resembles the Tirupathi. Day 2 # Nava Nandhi's

Dated : 19th April, 2019 Crew : Madhu and Myself In the early morning, we packed the bags and started the Nava Nandhi's trip. We enquired the auto walas, and they are charging 1000 rupees for the nava nandhi's. We denied and started on our way. For Nava nandhi's, first we need to visit the Uma Maheswar temple near Srinvas Center and there is an order to visit the Nava Nandhi's. The First 3 Nandhi's (Pradhama Nanadhi, Naga Nanadhi, Soma Nandhi) are in Nandyal only. We completed the 3 Nandhi's by the Share Auto's only. The next 2 nandhi's are on the way to Maha Nandhi. There are no direct auto's to the 4th and 5th Nandhi's. Few people suggested, first go to Omkar and there are few auto's available to the 4th and 5th Nandhi. But we get down in the Kothapalli, and then started walking towards the kadamala kaalva which is 8 km from Kothapalli. With the villager's help, I reached first upto Kadamala Kaavala on bike. Day 1 # Gandikota, Belum Caves, Arundhathi Fort and Yaganti

Dated : 18th April, 2019 Crew : Madhu and Myself Since the TN elections and Good Friday falling sequentially on this week, we have 4 days of free time to plan for the trip. Even though,we have planned little bit prior, we didn't end up with the possible plan, as there is no direct transportation to few places(Srisailam). Since there are no direct trains to Srisailam, we started the trip from nearest destination, we booked a bus ticket to the Jammalamadugu, which is the nearest station to our first destination, Gandikota) We have started from office little early to catch the bus at Madhavaram Bus Stand(Bus is at 7 PM). We followed the safe route without struck up in the traffic thinking there will be huge traffic. We reached Thiruvanmiyur Station and reached Perambur(There is direct train at 5:03PM) and then took auto(charges - 15), from there in the same auto he dropped at Madhavaram Local Bus stand(which is the incorrect destination).
